Our Homeschool Days are for homeschool and co-op families. It allows your family, group, or co-op the opportunity to participate in our Field Trip Program.

Cost: $12.00+tax/ticketing fee per person (Adults and Children) 
Under 2 is free

*Includes $2 voucher towards pumpkin purchase, Farmer-led presentations, access to all activities and the Animal Barn.

Learn about the lifecycle of a pumpkin and Swans Trail Farms' sustainable farming program. Learn all about cover crops, crop rotation, integrated pest management and other farming practices Swans Trail Farms use as part of our commitment to ecological farming.

Bees and our Apple Orchard

Enjoy a wagon ride out to the Apple Orchard. Explore the amazing relationship between our apple trees and the bees who pollinate them. Learn the importance of crabapple trees in our orchard!

A-maizing Corn

Learn about the parts of a corn plant, why the tassels are so important, and how we grow and create our Washington State Corn Maze. Hop the wagon ride back or stay and explore the 4.5 miles of winding paths with landmarks of our state along 250 state roads with 400 towns. Each road, town, and landmark is labeled with a sign featuring historical facts.

Each presentation will be approximately 15 minutes long and led by one of our fun and knowledgeable farmers!

In the Apple Orchard, catch the wagon ride out to the Apple Orchard or walk the Apple Trail, a 0.2 mile walk

Cider Mill Press Demonstrations

The Cider Mill will be actively pressing between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. 

After learning about our apple orchard, head back to the Cider Mill to view a cider pressing demonstration and sample our fresh-pressed cider!

Gentle Reminders & Important Details

  • Pre-purchased ticket are required for both children and adults. 
  • No timed entry, but you must claim your Homeschool Wristband before 12:00. No refunds/transfers for unclaimed wristbands or late arrivals. 
  • Includes a $2 voucher to be used towards the purchase of a pumpkin. Valid on Homeschool Day only. 
  • Homeschool Days is from 10am-2pm. The farm stays open until 6pm, feel free to stay and enjoy the farm activities until closing (Homeschool wristband required). 
  • All your favorite activities will be open, including the Washington State Corn Maze, Zip Lines, Cow Train, Low Ropes Play Zone, Barnyard Animal viewing, Jumping Pillows, 3-Story Hay Maze and more!
  • Retail Pumpkin Patch open from 10AM - 6PM
  • Country Sore open from 10AM - 6PM
  • Donut Barn open from 10am - 6pm serving warm donuts, hot dogs, pumpkin chili, hot/cold drinks including cider, caramel apples, and kettle corn
